REQUIRED TERMS AND DEFINITIONS
1. I, You or Your – Means the Customer stated on page one of this Contract.
2. We, Our, or Administrator – Means the Administrator stated on page one of this Contract.
3. Contract – Means this Limited Warranty Contract included with Your Vehicle purchase.
4. Covered Parts – Means any part listed under the “Covered Parts” section listed on page one of this Contract.
5. Covered Repair – Means the repair or replacement of the Covered Part stated on page one of this Contract.
6. Vehicle – Means the Vehicle stated on page one of this Contract.
7. Deductible – Means the amount of $100 You will pay directly to the repair facility once a Covered Repair has been paid.
8. Mechanical Failure – Means the inability of any Covered Part to perform the function for which it was designed. Gradual reduction in operating performance is NOT considered a Mechanical Failure. We reserve the right to use parts of Like, Kind and Quality and may include New, Used or Re-manufactured components.
9. Limit of Liability – Means the total amount that We will pay per Covered Parts group listed on page one on this Contract. These limits of liability are aggregate totals throughout the term of the Contract and NOT per Covered Repair.
The Administrator agrees, subject to the terms and conditions listed herein, that We will during the Contract period, make repairs and/or replace defective parts at licensed repair facilities for the listed Covered Parts when a Mechanical Failure has occurred. We reserve the right to have Your Vehicle inspected prior to any Covered Repair receiving authorization.
TOWING: Reimbursed up to $100. Limited to an aggregate amount of $100 during the Contract period.
1. Any Covered Repair that is completed without authorization from the Administrator with a specifically authorized amount.
2. Any part not listed under the Covered Parts section on the front page, or any damage to a Covered Part by a non-covered / non-listed part. Consequential damage from a Covered Part
to a non-listed / non-covered part.
3. Any repair due to overheating, regardless of cause, or damage caused by the wrong type of fluids or lubricants as well as inadequate levels and / or contamination.
4. Any repair to correct normal wear and tear on parts that have not broken. Parts that have worn beyond the factory tolerances resulting in smoking, compression loss, consumption of oil.
5. Any emission control system, catalytic converters, exhaust, mufflers or particulate filter components.
6. Any wearable and/or friction parts like suspension bushings, tie rod ends, steering dampeners, struts/shocks, fly wheels, flex plates, and manual transmission
7. Any maintenance, including , but not limited to: Examples: oil & fluid change/flush, freon recharge, light bulbs, fuses, drive belts or tensioners, brake pads, brake rotors, clutch, etc.
8. Any damage that could have been avoided due to continued operation once a failure has occurred.
9. Any damage caused by non-factory modification, severe off-road use, racing or competitive motor sports.
10. Any damage caused by abuse or utilizing the vehicle outside of factory towing and load tolerances.
11. Any Mechanical Failure caused by low oil level, old outdated oil change, corrosion, rust, carbon build-up, varnish or sludge.
12. Any Mechanical Failure covered by the factory, factory recall or other form of coverage.
13. Any Mechanical Failure due to impact of any kind, collision, theft, insects, vermin, water, riot, vandalism or war.
14. Any expense due to loss of time, missed work, storage, inconvenience, or injury of any kind.
15. Any seal or gasket exhibiting normal seepage or dampness, must have an active drip to be considered a failure. Example: Greater than one quart of engine oil over a period of three months or 3000 miles, whichever occurs first.
16. Any Mechanical Failure determined by the administrator to have existed prior to the vehicle purchase date.
17. Administrator is allowed up to 5 business days to have an independent third-party inspection completed on all engine and transmission failure claims.
NOTE: We require oil change receipts showing oil change completed every 3 months or 3000 miles, whichever occurred first, for all engine failure claims.
1. Have Your Vehicle inspected prior to purchase to confirm there are no existent failures on any Covered Parts.
2. Always monitor temperature and oil pressure, additionally look for “check engine" warning systems and make sure they are working properly. Check the level and condition of all coolants, lubricants, and fluids routinely. All Claims where engine was allowed to overheat will VOID engine failure claim regardless of reason.
3. Maintain Your Vehicle per factory recommendations and keep all receipts. Proof of service will be required if applicable. Timing belts are very important maintenance items and should be serviced promptly at factory recommended intervals. Confirm if Your Vehicle has a timing belt and proper maintenance has been performed.
4. Turn the Vehicle OFF immediately at the sign of any Mechanical Failure and call emergency roadside assistance and the Administrator before taking the Vehicle to any repair facility.
5. Drive Your Vehicle within the factory tolerances, failures determined to have occurred due to abuse or negligence will be denied.
